Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

What is included in this program?

Europ.Education will provide the following: one-way transfer of each group from/to Barcelona Airport by private bus, accommodation in shared twin double (eventually, triple) room with private bathroom, intercontinental breakfast, in-class lectures, in-class workshops, tickets for the scheduled visits if applicable, transportation by private bus for all visits outside of the city, guidance during the visits, final certificate of achievement if all conditions are met. It goes without saying that the implementation of these services will follow security and anti-COVID-19 rules in EU and Spain.

What do you mean by transfer from/to airport?
There will be one private bus which will take all the students from Barcelona Airport to the hotel (and return) if you are travelling in a group.

Do you have any rule on luggage?
Yes, we do! You are allowed to take one larger bag, one trolley bag and one personal bag on board of the bus or inside its trunk. If you travel with more bags or two larger bags and one personal bag, you have to pay an extra fee. This extra fee will cover both arrival and return bus.

Will we travel by bus all the time?
No, Actually, only transfers from/to Barcelona airport and visits to companies which are located outside he city center will be done by private bus. Inside the city center, everything is at walking distance.

Do you have any specific rule on COVID-19?
Yes. We will send you more detailed rules before you travel.

What are the costs of living in Barcelona?
It depends on your own lifestyle. Roughly speaking, you may easily spend more than 30 euros per day in food and beverage as you will stay in down-town.

Why can’t I pay my deposit cash? It was normal till 2019.
You are not allowed to do it for two reasons: the visa center may ask for a proof of payment done by yourself or your family on behalf of you. Cash leaves no proof... Moreover, use of cash is subjected to limitations in Europe.

What about your refund policy?
If your visa is refused, we don't want to keep anything of what we received. However, PayPal charges up to 5% per transfer and the hotels -after the pandemic crisis- keep a part of the deposits if you cancel in the last 30 days. Also, consider that some visits have a cost, must be paid in advance for they provide visa invitation and don’t refund anything to us. Consequently, if you apply for visa last minute and your visa application is rejected, you may miss more or less 70 Euros. Not even one single coin will remain in our account: it’s because of costs arising from third entities. You must consider that all European and North American education providers charge administrative fees: it’s the rule, not something strange.

Regarding money, how much money should I take with me during the travel?
We advise to take at least 100 euros cash per day in addition to one or more credit cards valid in Europe. Remember that you will need to leave to our program’s coordinator EUR 50 as an insurance at the check-in: this money will be refunded at departure.

What if I only have dollars?
You will waste a lot of money in exchange. You should covert from USD to EUR before you travel. Also, don’t take only very big banknotes: 500- and 200-euro banknotes cannot be converted easily.

Do you have any safety instructions?
Yes, many. We will give more before of the travel. We will also arrange one or two teleconferences with the purpose to teach you what the rules are and how to behave correctly.
